Join us at Ames CSD, where your talents are recognized, and you have the opportunity to grow in a supportive and dynamic community.The Ames Middle School coaching staff is looking for an Assistant Girls Cross Country Coach for the the 2024-25 school year.Work Schedule: During the season, the work schedule will be 4:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m., M-F. Additional hours are also required during meet days.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Assists Head Cross Country Coach in running a competitive program.
Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
Creates a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment for all athletes and families.
Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization.
Experience coaching cross country at the youth, middle school, or high school level preferred.
