Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Coordinator. As a member of the college’s human resources team, this position will provide service and consultation to academic departments, centers, programs, and a professional school within the college.
Key responsibilities include talent management for faculty and staff, position management including developing position descriptions for classification, administering applicable leave programs, maintaining data integrity and accompanying documents, and providing generalist level support to the college human resources team. This position will also play a key role in helping to enhance the human resource services provided by the college.
The successful candidate will demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; have the ability to maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and tact; maintain confidential and/or proprietary information; establish and manage relationships to build trust; and support the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the college.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience; OR a Master’s degree; OR a combination of education and/or related experience totaling 6 years unless otherwise specified under supplemental required education and experience. Experience must be at a comparable level and directly related to the duties of this position.
