WEST HANCOCK COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Preschool Teacher in Britt, Iowa
The West Hancock Community School District is seeking qualified applicants for a 3-year old preschool teacher which may be paired up with para educator responsibilities or teaching responsibilities in a 4-year-old preschool classroom. While teacher certification is not required for the 3-year-old preschool teacher position, early childhood teacher licensure will be necessary should the position be paired up with 4-year-old preschool teacher responsibilities. Preference will be given to applicants that are licensed in early childhood regular education.
Responsibilities of the 3-year-old teacher include, but are not limited to:
Provide instruction that meets curriculum developmentally appropriate for 3-year old students,
Monitor developmentally appropriate play,
Meet Department of Human Services regulations
West Hancock will be flexible in the hiring process.Applicant qualifications,applicant request,and enrollment numbers in our 3 and 4-year-old preschool programs will determine whether this position is paired up with para educator responsibilities orfour-year-oldpreschool teaching responsibilities.Three-year-old preschool and para education combination only warrants hourly pay unless paired with 4-year-old preschool responsibilities.
