Job no: 494190This position is responsible for retaining and attracting new FEP members for BCBSNE. Effectively manages relationships with Federal Agency Health Benefit officers, as well as individual members, by providing information about the FEP program and resolving escalated issues. In additional, this position will collaborate with the FEP WFM team and leadership to work on strategic initiatives, serving in the role of a SME, and educating the team on the FEP contract.What you'll do:Act as a SME to assist with strategic planning and working to complete projects initiated out of this planning.External Agency visits and Federal association meetings to develop and maintain relationships with HBO and individual members throughout the remainder of the year.External presentations / marketing of FEP product during FEP Open Season (Sep 15 through Dec 15).Effectively handle escalated issues, helping to remove impediments to meet the expectations of members and the FEP Directors Office.Training of internal staff on the FEP Contract to assure superior service delivery.To be considered for this position, you must have:1+ years experience with the Health Insurance Industry, with knowledge of marketing of Group Health plan contracts.6 months experience in public speaking and planning public events/meetings1+ years experience working with teams in an operations of strategic settingActive Nebraska Health Insurance Producers License, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hireThe strongest candidates for this position will also possess:Bachelors Degree is desired in Business or CommunicationsAgile 101 and Crucial Conversations training preferredWe strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better workplace for our employees and a better product for our customers and members.Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans
