Business/Analytics - Part-time Faculty

Department: Faculty - Business
Location: Des Moines, IA

 

We are accepting applications for part-time faculty for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. Previous teaching experience and relevant industry experience in the subject area are desired. Master degree in a discipline directly related to data analytics (e.g. statistics, computer science, data science, data management/modeling, predictive analytics, information systems, or other related master degree) from an accredited university. Candidates must be able to develop and teach courses within the business analytic disciplines at the undergraduate level, including courses involving:

 

  • DATA-101: Intro to Data Analytics (Fall semester)

  • DATA-321: Data Visualization (Fall semester)

  • STAT 341: Applied Regression Analysis and Modeling (Fall semester)

  • CPSC-260: Fund Program Data Mining Analysis (Spring semester)

  • DATA-454: Business Analytics Capstone (Spring semester)

 

*Courses will be offered on T/Th evenings 5:45 – 7:30 pm or 7:40-9:20 pm on Grand View’s campus and via live zoom. Fall semester 8/23/21 – 12/11/21. Spring semester 1/10/2022 – 4/28/2022.
