Job Purpose and Impact

The Finance Senior Supervisor, Cargill Food & Bio (CFB) Cargill Bioindustrial (CBI) - Americas will lead and develop a team of Business Operations & Supply Chain (BOSC) finance analysts who provide decision support and insight as finance business partners to the operations teams at our facilities. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure results are timely, qualitative, analyzed, and understood, providing essential partnership in business decisions and continuous improvement. In addition to managing a small team, this role will function as the main plant finance contact for one or more of our locations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead all aspects of the plant finance activities required to support the business and our stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance on accounting processes that are executed by other finance team members.

  • Apply substantial understanding of plant finance systems, practices, and procedures to guide the team in completing its work.

  • Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

  • Foster continuous improvement, drive value creation and preservation, and independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Experience performing financial analysis and partnering with non-finance stakeholders

  • Experience leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision-making

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change

  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience

  • Experience using SAP

  • Professional experience working in a plant environment

  • Proven ability in talent development and building high-performing teams
