GARNER HAYFIELD VENTURA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (Half Time) Anticipated 5th / 6th Grade Elective (Future Ready Skills) in Garner, Iowa
GHV Middle School has an anticipated opening for a half-time (.5) teacher for 5th and 6th grade 21st Century Skills class. We call this class Future Ready Skills, and it covers keyboarding, health, financial literacy, and computer science. We have some flexibility with working five days for partial days or working 2-3 full days. Our schedule isn't yet set. We are looking for someone who has passion for middle level learners, develops engaging lessons on 21st Century Skills, and also someone who can support our work as a PLC school. We have some coaching openings in our district at the varsity level, so a willingness to coach would be an added bonus. Since this is an elective course, you only need to be certified through the BOEE in any area in grades 5-6.
