Description: 4th-8th Grade Special Education Teacher / Self Contained Classroom at Jefferson Intermediate or Pella Middle School.Job Summary: Pella Community School District is seeking a highly motivated, quality applicant to fill a 1:1 Special Education Teacher position in a Self Contained Classroom for the 2024 - 2025 school year.Responsible for planning and implementing effective individualized instruction for students with significant need for academic and therapeutic support for self-regulation and with an overall goal of academic integration in the least restrictive environment. Teaches coping strategies in order to transition to a less restrictive placement, that is achieved through an integration of behavioral, emotional, and instructional interventions.The ideal candidate must demonstrate a passion for student achievement and strive for continued improvement.
