MercyOne Des Moines Neurosurgery Clinic is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinic Manager to join thier team! This person will assume responsibility for the opera­tion of their clinic including all planning, organizing and directing of activities of the facility.

What You'll Do:

  • Promotes personal growth/development and understanding among staff members in specific areas.

  • Addresses problems in a professional manner and helps coordinate solutions inter-departmentally.

  • Trains and monitors staff.

  • Creatively seeks new ideas to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care delivered.

  • Works with medical Director in regards to budget and operational guidelines.

  • Works with Clinic Administration and other managers to develop and implement best practices to address identified potential barriers or new opportunities.

  • Serves as liaison between physicians and Clinic Administration, promoting understanding and agreement in regard to future goals.

  • Responsible for personnel activities that include interviewing, hiring, evaluating, counseling and terminating.

  • Directs and/or manages employee human resource activities.

  • Directs clinic in complying with applicable laws and regulations relative to clinic operations.

  • Ensures that patient concerns are addressed and that appropriate and timely follow-up is performed.

  • Work requires a profes­sional level of knowledge in a health care.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience.
