ADM is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our high school girls bowling team as the Head Coach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bowling, coaching experience, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to mentor and develop student-athletes both on and off the lanes.Essential Functions: 1. Coaching and Training:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance players' bowling skills, including techniques, strategies, and physical conditioning

  • Provide personalized coaching to individual players, offering feedback and guidance to help them reach their full potential

  • Organize and conduct regular team practices, scrimmages, and drills to improve team cohesion and performance

    1. Game Strategy and Analysis:
  • Analyze opponents' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective game strategies

  • Teach players how to adapt their game plans based on lane conditions and competitor tendencies

  • Utilize video analysis and other tools to assess players' performances and identify areas for improvement

    1. Team Management:
  • Foster a positive and supportive team culture based on mutual respect, sportsmanship, and teamwork

  • Set clear expectations for behavior, academic achievement, and attendance, and enforce team rules and policies

  • Coordinate team logistics, including scheduling practices, matches, transportation, and equipment management

    1. Player Development:
  • Mentor student-athletes academically, socially, and athletically, promoting personal growth and character development

  • Provide guidance on college recruitment processes and assist players in pursuing collegiate bowling opportunities

  • Encourage involvement in community service activities and promote the importance of balancing academics with athletics

    1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, school administration, and other stakeholders

  • Collaborate with other coaches, both within the bowling program and across other sports teams, to share best practices and support student-athletes' holistic development

  • Serve as a positive representative of the school and the bowling program at competitions, meetings, and other events

    Qualifications:

  • Coaching certifications and compliant with all state and local regulations

  • Extensive knowledge of bowling techniques, strategies, and rules

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Commitment to upholding high standards of sportsmanship, integrity, and ethical conduct

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience preferred

  • Experience competing in high-level bowling competitions

  • Demonstrated success in developing players and achieving competitive success as a coach
