Maintenance/Manufacturing Supervisor/Lead

Job Overview

Manpower is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee operations for a client specializing in industrial materials and production. This role is key to ensuring smooth equipment operations, efficient team management, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with industrial machinery and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise maintenance staff, set priorities, and assign tasks to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

  • Equipment Management:

  • Oversee daily inspections and recordkeeping of industrial equipment.

  • Monitor the performance of forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, boom lifts, and other machinery, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.

  • Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce OSHA regulations and maintain compliance with safety standards.

  • Ensure all employees follow proper procedures and safety practices.

  • Operational Support:

  • Plan and execute routine and preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Support production operations as needed, including hands-on equipment operation and troubleshooting.

  • Material Handling: Assist in loading and unloading materials using forklifts and related equipment when necessary.

  • Inventory and Documentation: Manage records for machine inspections, repairs, and replacement parts. Maintain logs of materials moved or processed. Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or manufacturing leadership roles (minimum 3 years preferred).

  • Certifications (Highly Desirable):

  • OSHA 10

  • Forklift Certification

  • Scissor Lift Certification

  • Skid Steer Certification

  • Boom Lift Certification

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Solid knowledge of industrial equipment and tools.

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree preferred. Schedule and Compensation:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

  • Overtime opportunities after 40 hours per week.
