Job Title: Carpentry Technician

Job Description

We are actively searching for skilled carpenters, concrete workers, and steel erectors for various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Ames, IA. As a Carpentry Technician, you will engage in a range of construction tasks such as demolition work, earthwork and excavations, concrete placement and finishing, layout preparation, framework erection for structures, ceiling and wall installation, welding, and signaling operators. If you have a specific skill set, we'll aim to allocate tasks that best suit your expertise. However, we expect our team members to be flexible and open to performing various tasks on the job site.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ames, Iowa.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site Contract-to-Hire position based in Ames, Iowa, operating in a commercial construction environment. You'll be part of a dynamic team of 3-10 people on the job site. Our normal working hours are 7am-4pm from Monday to Friday, though this may vary throughout the season and day. The dress code is boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Depending on the project, you may be required to travel to locations such as Ames, Des Moines, or Huxley, IA.
