Position Title:Clerk IV - Part-time
Required Minimum Quals:• Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a construction office environment.
Experience using various technology, including Microsoft Office, and web-based systems.
Experience completing detail-oriented tasks and following extensive procedures.
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
The Facilities Planning and Management department is seeking applicants for a part-time Clerk IV to provide clerical support for Design and Construction Services on ISU’s capital construction projects. This position will handle various capital processes from the conception of the project until its completion.
This position will be responsible for project initiation and management for consultants. Will handle the consultant processes for agreements and amendments, recommendations, award processes, and payments. This position will also organize and maintain various file systems, approve vendor invoices for payment, scan and publish documents to the website, perform data entry, and maintain databases. In addition, this position will prepare various project documentation, including standard Board of Regents documents.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow procedures consistently. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. The successful candidate will also have the ability to communicate with a variety of people both in person and in writing.
This is a part-time position. Will work 4 hours per day, Monday – Friday. Specific schedule to be determined upon hire.
