Credit Analyst Requisition ID: 16430 Job Location(s): Ames, US, 50011 Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Credit Analyst based out of our Ames, Iowa facility. Working within Global Services North America Credit and Accounts Receivable team, the Credit Analyst performs collection activities and maintains analysis to support the open accounts receivable of the general ledger in maximizing sales and minimizing risk. It will also require working with credit management to recommend increases or decreases in credit limits according to the sales volume changes, financial results and cash flow of the customer.Job Responsibilities Collecting from customers within the agreed terms of saleEvaluating customers' credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk Negotiating on method and frequency of paymentsDecision making with Sales and Marketing on shippingAnalyzing of financial data using MS Office toolsDeveloping and preparing spreadsheets and models to support analysis Using Business Intelligence for reporting from SAP systemUnderstanding and correcting billing errorsIssuing miscellaneous and corrective billingFacilitating debit memo resolution with customersSetting up and updating finance side of customer master for new and existing customersProblem solvingBusiness partnering with other functions within Quote to Cash to achieve company goalsMonth End Reporting on key metricsBackground and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institutionStrong attention to details and ability to notice discrepancies in dataExcellent written and oral communication skillsMultitasking and prioritization skillsPrevious experience in Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing environment is a plusSAP experience is a plusStrong proficiency in MS Office Willingness to travel (minimal)Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
