The ZAF team is seeking a Loan Administration - Credit Analyst for the Ames, Iowa office location.

Ideal candidates will have these skills and experience :

  • Review new applications/submissions for completeness.

  • Provide all new loan file set up.

  • Conduct credit analysis including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information for new loan requests.

  • Review and monitor files for documentation and to maximize credit quality to minimize potential loss.

  • Preparation of credit presentation to lenders for lending consideration.

  • Provide Loan Origination System support.

  • Process and track loan origination fees.

  • Manage underwriting and pipeline reports.

  • Provides administrative and/or operational support within one or more of the following loan areas:

  • processing, closing, documentation, servicing, and disbursements.

  • Process withdrawn loans and declined applications.

  • Facilitate disbursement of weekly rate sheet.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications :

  • Requires College degree or equivalent experience. Some previous banking or loan experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills with an ability to meet deadlines.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with phone etiquette.

  • Must possess numeric and verbal aptitudes.

  • Tact, diplomacy, and good judgment required at all times.

  • Proven customer service skills and effective team skills.

  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Etc.)

  • and other industry-specific applications including loan origination, closing, and servicing systems.
