Our innovative solutions provide comprehensive, effective mental health services, including: outpatient, residential, community outreach, care coordination and crisis services.

What is Mobile Crisis?

  • The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) consists of professionals who provide onsite, face-to-face mental health services for individuals of all ages who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

  • Provide crisis response and interventions in the community or home settings where the crisis is occurring.

What is the role of the MCRT On-Call Counselor?

  • Available to respond in-person within a 1-hour physical region during an 8-hour shift while being on-call from home

  • Collaborates with team member to assess needs on-site

  • Provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis

  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis interventions when needed

  • Document each crisis evaluation

What are the Benefits?

  • Flexible Scheduling:MCRT on-call counselors select 8-hour shifts that work best with his/her schedule. Required to work one shift each two week pay period.

  • Team Oriented:MCRT on-call counselors always respond in teams of two to encourage collaboration and create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

  • Non-Traditional Health Care Setting:MCRT on-call counselors will respond to nearby counties, allowing them to be on-call from the comfort of his/her home.

  • Compensation:$3.00 per hour on-call rate ($10 per hour on-call rate on holidays), $17-$31 per hour dispatch rate determined by education and experience.

  • Cell Phone Reimbursement:$2 per shift for the use of personal cell phone, maximum 7 shifts per month.

  • 401kwith company match and immediate vesting


What are the Hiring Qualifications?

  • Own a working cell phone

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Required to maintain a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident auto insurance liability coverage. Required to provide proof of coverage.

  • As a condition of employment, Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services requires all newly hired employees to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine AND a flu shot by their start date unless they have requested and received an exemption due to a qualifying medical condition, a sincerly held religious belief or practice or a requirement by law.

Qualified applicants are required to meetoneof the following education/experience categories:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 30 semester hours or equivalent in a human services field and a minimum of one year of experience

  • Law enforcement officer with a minimum of two years of experience in the law enforcement officer’s field.

  • EMT with a minimum of two years of experience in the EMT’s field.

  • Peer support specialist with a minimum of one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services.

  • Family support peer specialist with a minimum of one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services.

  • RN with a minimum of one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a non-human services related field, associate’s degree, or high school diploma with a minimum of two years of experience and 30 hours of crisis and mental health in-service training.
