As a Process Engineer in our Engineering department in Ames, Iowa, you’ll take ownership of our manufacturing processes, as Liquid and powder chemistry, processing of raw materials, synthesis, reaction, finished solutions, among others, driving continuous improvement and providing technical support across the organization. Your work will span from new product introductions to customer support, ensuring that our processes are efficient, effective, and sustainable. Immediate projects this role will jump in to could include redesigns, adjustment of equipments to improve filling, guarding to protect our associate's safety.

This role is onsite, and a regular, flexible schedule between 5 AM and 6 PM can be established.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Innovate and implement cutting-edge technologies, methods, and techniques.

• Own and optimize the manufacturing process and standard work.

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive impactful process changes.

• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of process improvements.

• Project Management: work on multiple projects, manage your time, and work with teams across the company.

• Work with a talented group of engineers with different backgrounds that will help you grow and develop yourself as a professional.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong project management skills.

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $66,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
