Job Description

As a Technical Assembler, you will be responsible for working with 480-volt electrical components to wire man lifts. Your tasks will include wiring limit switches on the lifts per schematics, running multi-conductor wire, bending and fitting conduit and encoders. You will be in charge of all the wiring for the product. In addition to this, you will maintain daily production schedules to ensure completion target dates are achieved. You will also set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools required to perform tasks. Once trained and authorized, you will drive and operate forklifts and boom lifts.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in AMES, Iowa.

Work Environment

As a Technical Assembler, you will work in a shop environment alongside approximately 20 other professionals, reporting directly to the foreman. Your shift will be from 7-4, with the possibility of overtime, typically around 10 hours. No medical certifications are required for this role.
