Job Description

Danfoss Power Solution Segment is looking for a Transportation Consultant who will be part of a global team. We are building a strong Center of Excellence for Supply Chain Collaboration with internal and external partners. We perform strong process ownership and streamline processes through development of frameworks. We drive alignment and implementation of strategic projects across our business Divisions.

You will have a key role driving excellence in our transportation processes and be responsible for implementation of strategic transportation projects and concepts. You act as link between our business, Forwarders, and the Global Freight Management Team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Lead strategic projects in a timely and effective manner to support our growth objectives and customer requirements.

• Being first point of contact for escalation from sites on carrier performance issues

• Create clear roles and responsibilities for processes and procedures.

• Drive successfully cross-functional stakeholder engagement for alignment and handshake.

• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

• Responsible for securing solid and easy to understand documentation for the organization.

• Drive and lead continuous improvement activities to ensure processes are efficient, well implemented, and globally aligned to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

• Lead problem resolution through fact-based root cause problem solving.

• Ensuring clear communication channels across business and different stakeholders

• Develop measurements and KPI to support the performance transparency.

• Secure visibility and transparency for transportation performance; drive KPI’s and performance reporting.

• Be a super user of our Global Transportation Management System.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in relevant field combined with solid background within Transportation and Logistics or 5+ years of related experience

• Strong Project Management skills and are comfortable being in front and drive progress.

• Having exceptional analytical skills and can drive fact-based problem-solving.

• Experienced user in TMS systems and SAP knowledge is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be able to effectively communicate across all levels of corporation and outside of corporation.

• An ability to successfully engage with and collaborate with diverse stakeholders – both internal and external.

• Work structured, systematic and can prioritize tasks and meet agreed deadlines.

• Self-driven and put a high quality in the work being done.

• As a person you have an inbuild natural curiosity
