Deere & Company is seeking an Embedded Controls Engineer in Ankeny, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 1 year related experience. Prior experience must include: troubleshoot field issues using variety of vehicle network tools such as Vector tools (1 yr); experience with CAN communication protocols such as SAE J1939 and ISO 11783 (1 yr); develop and simulate Embedded software using C, MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow (1 yr); controls systems design and optimization using PID and system identification toolbox (1 yr); model in loop, Software in loop, Hardware in loop, and Vehicle in loop testing (1 yr); troubleshoot lower level embedded hardware, electrical architecture (1 yr). 25% travel required.
