Job TitleHR ManagerJob Description SummaryThe Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating activities within a region, account, or market segment that ensures a standardized application of policies, procedures, and practices that influence employee relations and employment practices. This position develops and implements strategies to ensure HR meets the needs of the business. In this position, the Human Resource Manager serves as the key Business Partner to the operations team by providing counsel, advice, coaching, and recommendations on HR and people-related matters.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities: Partner with the management team to ensure HR practices are consistent with overall objectives and support employees' growth and development.Provide counsel for managers and supervisors on employee relations issues including discipline, policy interpretation, harassment and discrimination, HR compliance, background checks, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, Wage and Hour Law, I-9 compliance as well as other matters.Conduct on-site internal investigations involving employment incidents and prepare comprehensive investigation reports with recommended findings.Develop and deliver employment and compliance training modules to staff.Support the business by responding to HR-related inquiries arising from employees. Work with the account leader and appropriate support teams to research and provide an appropriate response.Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the HR department's efficiency and services.Responsible for providing strategic recruitment implementation.Provide HR support and coordination for new account start-up activities, including proper hand-off at the project's end.Support other HR-related activities as required, including exit interviews, training in performance management, positive employee relations, and other personnel training requirements.Facilitate management/all employee training programs that support business needs and/or legal requirements.Serve as back up to Sr. HR Director.Requirements:The job requires an ability to partner with all organizational levels and build relationships with managers and leaders with a capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.We are looking for someone with extensive working knowledge of the laws and practices related to employment and personnel management. This includes:*Applicable state and federal employment and labor laws*Understanding governmental compliance requirements* Immigration laws, and processes*Occasional travel required (10%)*Computer skills required, proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products*Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the job's essential functions*B.S./B.A. or 5-7 years of HR Management Level and or Sr HR Generalist experience required*HR Generalist Certification or PHR preferred.CandW Services is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative?
