Job Title: Lead Installer

Job Description

Our team is expanding and is seeking a professional and reliable person to serve as a Construction Lead Installer. You will lead, coordinate, and manage the construction and installation of petroleum equipment. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Underground Storage Tank (UST) Installer in Nebraska, Iowa, and/or Kansas. This position may require occasional travel during the work week. Responsibilities include: - Directly supervising all construction personnel assigned to the crew. - Communicating specific requirements to ensure a successful, safe, timely, and profitable project. - Participating in plan reviews and specifications, environmental regulations, as well as fire and building codes. - Helping produce agendas and assisting with safety, pre-construction, progress & schedule, and on-site coordination. - Ensuring accurate and timely daily records are maintained on each project, including testing records, inspections, schedule progression, material tracking, and photos. - Communicating with the construction team for accurate time coding and payroll verification. - Coordinating with shop managers to ensure correct parts and equipment are staged for each project. - Performing weekly safety audits at project sites and submitting findings to the construction team.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the petroleum industry.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ankeny, Iowa.

Work Environment

This position may require occasional travel during the work week. You will oversee construction personnel on various project sites, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Be open to a flexible work schedule that may include after-hours and/or weekend work. Be willing to travel to projects as needed. Be able to work in all weather conditions.
