Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons - DMOS Total Joint Coordinator RN in Ankeny, Iowa

Description

What is the Job: As the Total Joint Coordinator RN, you will be responsible for working with patients scheduled for surgery to ensure all things are in order before their procedure. You will collaborate with physicians and ambulatory staff to ensure all total joint replacement program requirements are met. After our patients have finished their procedure or surgery, you will be responsible for supporting patient recovery. This may include monitoring post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia or sedation.

Education

Required

  • Associates Degree or better in Nursing

  • Technical/other training or better in Nursing
