Description:

This position will perform standard truck driver duties, load and unload trucks, stock inventory, maintain the warehouse, and transport orders. The purpose will be to maintain and grow the "Customer for Life" concept for existing and new customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Represent Baker Group at all times

  • Load and unload trucks and orders for transport

  • Safely transport and deliver a variety of products and materials, in and out of state

  • Ability to make some overnight trips from time to time

  • Some computer work

  • Dependable

  • Uphold warehouse equipment and vehicles

  • Organize packages according to delivery sites

  • Work an 8 hour daily schedule that is subject to change according to delivery requirements

  • Be flexible with work schedule, may need to occasionally work weekends and/or overtime

  • Able to meet deadlines

  • Accurate daily time and equipment reporting

    MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Heavy Hauling Experience

  • Over-sized Load Experience

  • Pass a drug test

  • Pass DOT physical

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver's license

  • Acceptable driving record

  • Class A CDL license

  • Heavy lifting involved

  • Computer

  • PPE: orange safety vest, hard hat, goggles

  • Pallets

  • Pallet jack and wrap

  • Load straps
