Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for a Blow Mold Lead Technician in Bettendorf, IA for a well-known, growing manufacturing organization! You will be responsible for providing leadership in the blow mold department for all machine and processing issues as well as assisting with the analysis, planning and improvement of all processes, systems and equipment. Must be able to perform all operator duties such as mold changes and changeover requests. Shift: 1st Schedule: Monday-Friday Type of employment: Direct Hire / Full-Time

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates high level knowledge of all machines within the RHB department and supporting equipment.

• Can adjust and replace belts, torque limiters, chains, mold bearings, cams, 3-way valves, blow nozzles, proximity sensors, air regulars and other equipment as needed.

• Can identify root cause by mold station, transfer arm, spindle, oven, mechanical interference, preform problem, process change, temperatures, measuring and visual inspection.

• Is able to troubleshoot and recommend procedures to improve production efficiencies and/or produce a higher quality product.

• Develops, upgrades, and drives new standards across manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency and productivity.

• Validate old and new standards

• Assist Quality in sampling new resins/color concentrates as well as the completion of CQV's for new or refurbished mold qualifications when required.

• Perform capability studies on the production equipment and develop corrective action plans to improve capabilities
