Job Description

We are a global manufacturer of high-quality welding, cutting, and joining solutions, ranging from simple to complex. We are seeking a 1st shift machinist to join our team, working Monday through Thursday on the day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple setups per shift, machining weldments, block work of all sizes, flame/grind plates, pins, and more, all while maintaining exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate 5 axis CNC machines to machine parts per print efficiently and accurately.

• Perform multiple setups per shift and machine a variety of parts including weldments, block work, flame/grind plates, and pins.

• Inspect work for conformance to specifications.

• Maintain minimal re-work or scrap.

• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.

Essential Skills

• 4-7 years minimum experience as a machinist.

• Experience setting up and operating HAAS VMCs or UMCs

• Proficiency with mill, lathe, micrometer, and other standard machinist measuring tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Programming experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of M and G codes.

• Experience with grinding machines.

• Ability to set up and run one-off parts to print efficiently and accurately

Additional Information

• 1st shift, 5am - 3:30pm, Monday - Thursday

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00
