Job Title: Wind Farm Site Administrator

Compensation: $25/HR

Job Type: Contract (June through the EOY)

Job Location: Spend approximately 70% of the time at the Blairsburg, IA site and 40% of the time at the Schaller, IA site

Job Summary

The Wind Farm Site Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of wind energy facilities, ensuring smooth functioning, safety, and compliance. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including correspondence, scheduling, and document management.

Communicate with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.

Provide support to site managers, including managing personnel schedules and ensuring compliance with site regulations.

On-Site Leadership:

Provide onsite leadership and direction.

Represent the owner in all on-site matters.

Collaborate with the owner’s team (Project Director, Engineering Manager, Legal Counsel, and Controller) to meet project schedule, budgetary, quality, and safety requirements1.

Dual Site Responsibility:

Spend approximately 70% of the time at the Blairsburg, IA site and 40% of the time at the Schaller, IA site.

Coordinate maintenance schedules and address unexpected maintenance needs.

Respond to changes in energy demand and system faults.

Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Experience:

Required Experience – Experience in a previous administrative position.

Preferred Experience - Experience in renewable energy, mechanical, electrical, or field service management.

Exposure to high voltage maintenance, plant SCADA systems, and computerized maintenance management systems.

Knowledge of wind turbine design, system operation, and component diagnosis and repair1.
