Radiologic Technologist – PRN
General Information:
- In-house shifts, on-call hours, weekends, and holidays are varied.
Description:
- Perform various Imaging exams on patients that assist Radiologists and Healthcare Providers in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury following established techniques and procedures utilizing Radiography and Computed Tomography. Use technical skills to perform routine diagnostic procedures, set-up and operate stationary and mobile Xray equipment while following safety principles, radiation protection, and hospital policy & procedures. Duties will include patient centered care, secretarial duties, utilization of DR, PACS, and EHR systems, and assisting with Quality Improvement projects. Opportunity to cross-train into other modalities.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification in Radiography required.
Current Iowa Permit to Practice required.
CT scan experience preferred but willingly to train.
CPR certification preferred or able to obtain in 3 months.
