Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Unloading incoming trucks, verifying quantities received, and checking for product damage.

• Reporting any damaged or missing products and reconcile product count against packing lists.

• Utilizing a computer, scanning equipment, and other essential tools, you will ensure efficiency in the receiving process.

• Staging and organizing incoming inventory by purchase order and stocking/storing them in the proper locations throughout the warehouse.

• Responsible for maintaining and monitoring inventory in the warehouse, keeping the warehouse organized and tidy.

• Tasked with pulling tickets for delivery and installations, unboxing, and pulling the correct product for jobs.

• You might also be required to assemble/disassemble or repair furniture components as needed, following specified instructions.

Hard Skills

• 1+ year of forklift experience

• Experience with cherry picker, pallet jack, and dolly

• Experience with RF scanner

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ames, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will be working in a smaller, close-knit environment with the team. The job requires you to work independently. The schedule is during the 1st shift: 7 AM - 4 PM.
