Cargill Facility Manager in Buffalo, Iowa

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Facility Manager will provide operational oversight for all production processes for a less complex plant or multiple plants with a lower level of complexity. We seek a multifaceted professional to ensure areas of responsibilities meet standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead all aspects of the overall operational management of a plant and/or multiple plants.

Lead, direct and control capital and operating budgets for a plant and/or multiple plants.

Supervise strategic and tactical deliverables to ensure customer and product/quality standards are met within specifications.

Collaborate with specialists to ensure the most effective risk mitigation plans and regulatory compliance strategies are in place.

You will lead and develop a team, exhibiting authority for talent management decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of four years of related work experience

Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of supervisory experience

Manufacturing or packaging experience ideal

Experience in cost management, production performance to plan and capital projects
