  1. Provide technical assistance for audiovisual and computer equipment and peripherals.
  2. Repair, when possible, or diagnose needed repair for all computer and electronic equipment.
  3. Transport equipment or arrange for transport of equipment to and from outside repair facilities if unable to perform repairs in-house.
  4. Perform periodic cleaning and diagnostic routines on computers located in all buildings.
  5. Order and stock supplies and parts.
  6. Maintain log of activities and repairs.
  7. Unpack, inspect, test, mark, and inventory new equipment prior to delivery and/or installation.
  8. Maintain repair records and histories of repair parts.
  9. Maintain detailed knowledge of network operating systems, WAN, LAN network functioning.
  10. Assist with installation of new software and upgrades.
  11. Assist teachers and principals in the evaluation of appropriate hardware and software.
  12. Be knowledgeable of and abide by all school board policies, procedures and other applicable laws including copyright.
  13. Work well with others, maintaining positive and effective communication with school personnel and students.
  14. Contribute to creating a positive work environment.
  15. Demonstrate integrity and respects confidentiality.
  16. Arrive on time and works consistently until the end of his/her scheduled day.
