Job Overview :

The Forklift/Reach Truck Operator will work Monday- Friday, 5:00am - 1:30pm, and is responsible for the daily put-away and let down processes within the freezer in the Warehouse.

Expectations :

  • Responsible for quality control and correct rotation of all items.

  • Responsible for e nsuring that products stored and received meet our customer expectations.

  • Follow first in, first out procedures when stocking and rotating items .

    Job Duties :

  • Spot - check every received pallet daily to ensure quality is at or above standards.

  • Handle all product with care to reduce damage.

  • Determine slot location and slot changes for product.

  • Rotate and evaluate current inventory according to expiration date on product.

  • Complete and submit daily inventory changes and damaged/unsellable product reports to the I nventory staff.

  • Turn in letdown sheets to area I nventory staff/ S upervisor.

  • Communicate with S upervisor daily on questions, concerns, or any other issues.

  • Refuse product for poor quality reasons.

  • Transfer product to a smaller pallet if designated small wood.

  • Report to S upervisor upon completion of assigned work.

  • Maintain clean, neat , and orderly condition of the warehouse.

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations of warehouse.

  • Operate all machinery according to company policy and procedures.

  • Maintain a high level of attendance.

  • Assist in other areas of warehouse as assigned by S upervisor.

  • Interact and cooperate with all Martin Bros. personnel respectfully.

  • Suggest positive changes for the department and Martin Bros.

  • Read and follow company policy.
