Position Description:
Supports research activities and the processing and operation of all technologies available in the Foundry 4.0 Center under the guidance and direction of the Project Director, Project Engineers and Research Associates. Hands on, real world experience in mold/core and tooling design and process simulation in support of accelerating the adoption of Manufacturing 4.0 technologies in the Metal Casting industry. These are first shift positions with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
Current student in field of applied engineering, engineering, computer science, chemistry or physics required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Interest in foundry industry, robotics and/or internet of things preferrred.
