Our client, in Cedar Rapids is seeking an accounting clerk to join their team. As an accounting clerk, you will be part of the office team support. The ideal candidate will have experience with clerican and accounting skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Pay Range: $19

What’s the Job?

• Performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks in line with standard procedures

• Execute clerical duties such as recording, processing and reporting financial information

• Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and within the set deadlines.

What’s Needed?

• Efficiently process customer payments and manage accounts payable and receivable Post relevant information and balance general or subsidiary ledgers

• Compile segments of monthly closings and perform periodic reporting

• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses when required

• Collaborate with other departments and agencies to resolve problems
