Communications Engineer Level Tech - In general, someone with extensive knowledge & experience managing and supporting a large, complex on-prem system

telephony platform
- Experience managing system version upgrades (ex. Communication Manager,
System/Session Manager, & CMS upgrades)
- Experience managing external applications that connect to Avaya (ex. SIP trunks,
Audiocodes SBCs, Medallia's "Virtual Hold" product, Inova Marquee, Calabrio, IVR)
- Experience monitoring, managing, and supporting voice traffic from the carrier to the
SBC, to the Avaya platform
Ability to work with external vendors or partners to execute system upgrades
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues end-to-end in the Avaya system with other
teams to find resolution
Ability to administer Avaya Aura Communication Manager
Ability to manage and update Call Routing (Vectors, VDN's, Skills)
Ability to interpret, build, and administer reporting in Avaya CMS
Ability to configure and troubleshoot the Avaya Agent for Desktop softphone
Advanced troubleshooting skills
