Job Title: DispatcherJob Description

We are seeking a proactive and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing messages and phone calls from drivers, ensuring they are fully aware of their plans and pre-plans around drop-offs. The Dispatcher will be required to keep ETAs updated and accurate and to process inbound messages from drivers, answering any queries via our internal system. The role also involves sending load plans, customer information, route suggestions, local directions, and fuel solutions in a timely manner to enable drivers to plan their trips accordingly.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Work Environment

The successful candidate must be capable of working independently during their shift. The work schedule is a 3rd shift, running from Thursday to Sunday night, 9 pm to 7:30 am with a half-hour lunch break. Days off are Monday to Wednesday.
