Solve problems related to equipment, tooling, process, quality, and document problem-solving efforts (12% of the time). Support engineering product changes and launches by leading activities associated with developing robust manufacturing processes and training plans (6% of the time). Ability to take a product from ideation and engineering drawings to commercial viability (6% of the time). Support production by helping troubleshoot equipment and process issues (6% of the time). Write capital spending requests, write equipment specifications, develop new equipment and processes, manage the project to ensure new products launch on time with zero defects (4% of the time). Influence and motivate individuals or groups working towards mutual goals (6% of the time). Build and deliver various continuing education coursework and trainings covering the topics of quality assurance, engineering, 5S, and other lean manufacturing initiatives (4% of the time). Evaluate new materials, processes and procedures to enhance and improve existing product lines (2% of the time). Manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers who provide engineering expertise to internal and external stakeholders to assess, design, and engineer optimal equipment solutions (6% of the time). Manage strategic project initiatives by keeping efforts on schedule and ensuring that progress aligns with the goals of both the business and our customers (4% of the time). Oversees the development, deployment and sustainment of lean manufacturing engineering processes and procedures (8% of the time). Drive engineering projects by leading the engineering team to help the organization reduce costs, improve productivity, product quality, and process improvement with a strong emphasis in Lean Manufacturing (8% of the time). Responsible for the development of equipment to aid the manufacturing process and facility (2% of the time). Provide technical inputs to marketing and sales team for new business and facilitate successful outcomes (8% of the time). Ensure accuracy of manufacturing engineering procedures and documentation (4% of the time). Provide leadership and guidance to assure corrective actions are resolved, adequate root cause analysis is completed and short/or long-term corrective actions are implemented (4% of the time). Support the engineering and production teams through hands-on involvement on production floor focusing on overall process and product improvements (2% of the time). Assist with the development and implementation of key performance indicators for each area of responsibility (2% of the time). Lead a team of manufacturing engineers in a fast-paced environment while enhancing a culture that inspires positive employee engagement (4% of the time). Develop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescales (2% of the time). Requirements:

  • Masters in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2 y. exp. as a Manufacturing Engineer in the process filtration industry using Solidworks, Draftsight, AutoCAD, Ansys, Diffusion Tester, Integrated Testing Machine, Turbidimetric Efficiency Tester, Differential Pressure Tester, and Collapse Tester
  • Requires travel less than 5% of the time to customer sites throughout North America.
