Job Skills / Requirements
We are looking for a flexible floater officer in the Cedar Rapids area.
This position would be mostly Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 3pm to 11pm. It will vary in hours depending on need. Some weeks will have more than others. The variance will come from call offs and utilizing in other various openings. Must be available to come in when not scheduled.
Pay: $17 hour
Shift: Varies
Hours per week: Will vary from 24-32 depending on the need.
Must have reliable transportation to and from sites**
Must have a valid drivers license as most sites involve driving**
Must be flexible and willing to pick up shifts as needed**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
- Handling truck scale
- Gate attendant
- Office duties
- Must be able to work independantly
Training:
One week 40hrs Monng will consist of day through Friday 7am to 3pm
8-16 Hours of training on the 2nd shift
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
