Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a facility located on the south side of town near the airport. This role involves partnering with convenience stores to supply and build displays for various products, including health and beauty supplies, automotive supplies, cellular accessories, sunglasses, and snacks.

Responsibilities

• Replenish pick faces with product to be picked (25%-40% of day).

• Put away received product in storage racking (20%-30% of day).

• Load and unload freight onto trailers/containers (10%-20% of day, more when covering vacation).

• Assist in receiving area by sorting and breaking down pallets (5%-10% of day).

• Operate stand-up reach truck.

• Wrap pallets in preparation for loading onto trucks (5%-10% of day, more when covering vacation).

• Re-work/re-label products (5%-10% of day).

• On some days, operate the reach truck for up to 80% of the day. On most days, this amounts to 25%-50% of the day. When covering the shipping dock, 90% of the day is committed to shipping duties.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in production and operate a forklift.

• 1+ year of stand-up reach truck experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF Gun preferred, but training will be provided.

• Experience with sit-down forklift preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. When not operating a forklift, you may be sitting at a table helping to assemble products. The dress code includes sweatpants, shorts, or jeans, t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes. The hours for this position are 2nd shift, from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.
