HVAC Technician $20-$35 DOE

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Installation of new HVAC units, typically 3- and 5-ton units.

· Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.

· Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units.

· Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.

· Compliance with company and industry safety standards.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills.

· Travel isrequired.

· Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.

· Ability to use power and hand tools.

· Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Related experience required.

· Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master License preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Physically able to work on HVAC units.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions.

· Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
