Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANICS 2ND & 3RD SHIFT $25-$30/HR!!

Job Description:

  • Ensure production of machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.

  • Perform maintenance on all machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.

  • Have a working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, AC/DC motors and controls.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Assemble, install and fabricate equipment as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Welding/fabrication experience preferred, not required

  • Troubleshooting experience
