Collins Aerospace is in search of a dynamic and driven Manufacturing Program S pecialist to join our Flight Systems Team in Cedar Rapids, IA . We are looking for an individual who is willing to grow and learn aspe cts of CORE to support our organization.

What you Will Do.

• You will manage and support project execution for the Cedar Rapids Avionics teams.

• You will manage Core Control Rooms within Flight Systems and Displays, including reviews of those areas with site and region leadership.

• You’ll be responsible for assisting in the creation of detailed project schedules in alignment with our macro plan and control tower execution along with the adherence of these schedules.

• You’ll help in preparing presentations and presenting project status, milestones, risks, mitigation plans, etc. at regularly scheduled Goal Alignment Progress Reviews.

• You will lead CORE trainings to support organizational knowledge and maturity.

  What You Will Learn

• You’ll learn critical communication skills in reporting to many different areas and levels of the business.

• You’ll learn about CORE tools and their adoption/usage within Cedar Rapids Avionics.

  Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 5 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• CORE Champion/Apprentice Certification or Lean Six Sigma background.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
