Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)
BUSINESS UNIT: CCR Business Services
FUNCTION: Marketing
REPORTS TO : Director of Organizational Design
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
LOCATION: Cedar Rapids, IA - this role requires 3 days a week in office
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years

We are searching for a highly motivated, dedicated Marketing Specialist focused on content creation and event planning. Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, engaging our target audience, and driving meaningful interactions through compelling content and well-executed events. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement marketing strategies that resonate with our audience and align with our business objectives.
This role has required travel of approximately 25%.
What You’ll Accomplish and Experience
Must be able to perform role while following client guidelines for access and safety protocols at client job sites
Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies across various channels, including but not limited to website, blog, social media, email, and print materials.
Create high-quality, engaging content such as articles, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and more to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation.
Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content and alignment with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for content optimization and innovation.
Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of events, including virtual and in-person events such as webinars, workshops, conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, promotion, registration, and post-event evaluation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless execution and maximize event impact and ROI.
Measure and analyze the performance of content and events using relevant KPIs and metrics, and leverage insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing, event management, and related fields, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
