IFF in Cedar Rapids IA is seeking a Process Technician to join our team!

You will spend your time...
Performing core process operations which may include prep, fermentation, recovery, granulation, material handling, receiving, shipping, and packaging.
Monitoring equipment and production process, working with our process control systems, troubleshooting equipment, and interacting with engineers to optimize the process.
Participating in crew team activities that include defining best practices, SOP development, training, continuous improvement efforts and standardization.
Being an effective team player. Willingly shares and accepts responsibilities, helps others, asks for help when needed.
Communicating in an open, honest, and constructive manner. Keeping a positive attitude and work through issues in a constructive manner.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
A.A./B.S. or a related degree in a scientific or technical field preferred
2 + years of experience in a mechanical or industrial plant environment
Demonstrated mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and oral communication abilities are required
Computer experience with MS Office Suite
Ability to wear respirator
Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting (55lbs)
AWS 24/7 Schedule - 4-week Rotation, 12 Hr shifts (6:00 - 6:00); You are only scheduled 7 days out of each two week, 14 day, rotation!
• Week 1 Days : Mon Tuesday, Friday, Sat, Sunday
• Week 2 Days: Wed, Thurs
• Week 3 Nights: Mon, Tues, Friday, Sat, Sunday (includes $1.50/hr premium)
• Week 4 Nights: Wed, Thurs (includes $1.50/hr premium)
