Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Public Relations Consultant to help with a short term leave assignment. This role is fully remote and will report to the Head of Public Relations of the company. The PR Consultant will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies, drafting compelling pitches and press releases, and collaborating across various departments to support an integrated communications approach.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute public relations strategies to support business goals and enhance brand reputation.

• Work collaboratively across Corporate Affairs and business-line marketing in support of an integrated communications approach.

• Draft and distribute compelling pitches and press releases to garner media coverage.

• Prepare talking points for media interviews to ensure spokespersons are well-prepared.

• Attend project meetings, interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and develop key messages.

• Adhere to brand guidelines and AP style in all communication materials.

• Maintain a high level of organization and detail orientation while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate content development, review/approval, and execution.

• Leverage skills in Marketing, Planning Processes, Quality, Review, Social Media, Brand Awareness, Public Relations, Financial Services, Press Releases, Internal Communications, Compelling Content, Journalism, Media Relations, and Content Development.

• Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in Public Relations

• Ability to Execute PR strategies effectively and interface with C-Suite executives

• Ability to Pitch Ideas and write Press Releases - must be comfortable picking up the phone to call reporters

• Experience with Internal Communications

• Capability to create Compelling Content, with a Journalism background preferred

• Experience working in a Financial Services/Insurance/Retirement related field

• Proven skills in Media Relations and Content Development

• Strict adherence to Brand Guidelines
