We are in search of a dedicated Receptionist to join our client's team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role encompasses a wide array of tasks, from greeting and directing visitors to managing incoming calls and performing data entry tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the legal industry, where you will be an integral part of maintaining an efficient and welcoming office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, direct them to the appropriate area or person, and manage the use of the lobby and conference rooms

• Handle both inbound and outbound phone calls, providing information and assistance to clients

• Follow up on online leads and communicate with current clients about schedules and intake processes

• Perform data entry tasks, accurately inputting information into our database and assisting with small projects as needed

• Organize and maintain files, ensuring easy accessibility and up-to-date records

• Clean and reset conference rooms after use, maintaining a professional and tidy environment

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks

• Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients

• Handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently, ensuring accurate information exchange.

Requirements

• Proficient in answering multi-line phone systems

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Skilled in organizing files and maintaining filing systems

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required.
