What You Will Do: As part of Transamerica’s team you will learn about different types of retirement plans and how they work! You will become knowledgeable of the regulations that govern a variety of retirement plan vehicles such as IRA’s, 401-k, 403-B, and others. You will ensure adherence to those guidelines as you process a variety of transactions such as withdrawals, roll overs, loans, required distributions, etc. You will also learn to differentiate different products and work types, and remain abreast of current procedures and pension laws.

You will be working with a team of ambitious and engaged professionals who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to help us continually shake up the status quo and stay on the forefront of reinventing how we meet our business partner’s needs.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Process a variety of retirement plan transactions following company standards for accuracy, volume, and timeliness.

  • Become proficient in the use of Automated Work Distributor (AWD) and PARIS systems to process transactions while adhering to prescribed processing standards and procedures.

  • Develop a strong understanding of qualified retirement plan regulations and how these apply to transactional processing.

  • Use strong problem solving and analytical skills to differentiate between different products and the appropriate processing methods.

  • Assist in researching, recommending and documenting improvements in service and productivity for the area to ensure quality service.

  • Interpret error messages and apply appropriate error resolution.

  • Assist in special projects as assigned and provide support to various teams as needed.

What You Need:

  • Associate’s degree in a business field or equivalent work experience

  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Prefer retirement or pension experience.

  • Prefer familiarity with MS Word, Excel

Compensation

*Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. *

Compensation

The Hourly Rate for this position generally ranges between $13.63-$22.46. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

Bonus Eligibility

This position is also typically eligible for Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 6%.
