This position will work in procurement and will support a manufacturing area from a procurement perspective. This position will lead PFEP events, approve and review Change Orders. As well as monitor inventory levels and review disposal reports. This position also reviews SLT's, and works in the ALM system to review technical questions. This position also works a lot in SAP does BOM reviews, and the mismatch tool amongst other SAP transactions.
Maintain a stretch relationship between production planning/manufacturing/MPS Planning/procurement and any other organization/group to anticipate potential material constraints preventing production flow.
Responsible for meeting the MFI goal set by the procurement organization for the site.
Maintain a number of reports up to date to allow management to monitor performance and take actions and make decisions based on the data set.
Monthly disposition of excess inventory after the information is reviewed and shared with program management and manufacturing for concurrence.
Monitor MRB inventories and work with them to accelerate disposition of rejected material.
Develop an excellent network across all sites within the Collins organization.
Develop Strategies to help improve the performance of not only the procurement organization, but the overall site.
Lead PFEP events with cross functional team
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
