This role is responsible for providing mid-level DBA duties utilizing at least two different RDBMS on multiple OS platforms. Responsibilities The SQL Database Administrator will be called upon as a subject matter expert and will need to work across many departments and teams in support of delivering services to OneNeck clients; breaking down any barriers to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. This position continuously develops work instructions to ensure technical activities are conducted in a controlled and repeatable manner. The SQL Database Administrator develops technical plans, conducts technical reviews, and executes upon plans in support of incident, change, and problem management efforts. This role will also include a significant amount of effort dedicated towards the automation of support processes on current and emerging database technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Being an escalation point for issues and requests that cannot be serviced by other groups, working issue to resolution, improving upon process, procedure, and knowledge to reduce future escalations.Being a member of project teams in the planning and delivery of activities to support on-time and on-budget completion.Conducting technical peer reviews of change plans and activities; providing recommendations, guidance, and authorization as appropriate.Continually developing and enhancing technical operating procedures and documentation to improve upon efficiency and effectiveness of operations.Continuously identifying and owning problems and/or opportunities for improvement; working towards developing and deploying temporary and permanent fixes.Periodically constructing and facilitating training with other groups in support of increasing capabilities, efficiencies, and effectiveness.Providing input on architecture, roadmaps, and best practice standards. Qualifications Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field -OR- 4+ years of professional experience.3+ years technology experience in SQL database administration.1+ year technology experience in Cloud database administration.Other QualificationsMCSA SQL Database Administration or Azure Database Administrator Associate certification a strong plus.ITIL V3 foundation certification preferred.Scripting/development skills to aide in process improvement and automation.Working knowledge of DevOps principles preferred.Sound judgment and decision-making skills.Advanced analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.Results and execution oriented, self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.Advanced communication skills regarding project teams and management.Proficient with all Microsoft Office
