PARTICIPANTS: Certified H.S. Teachers
Location: Online only
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include:
Promoting student success by:
Supporting a roster of online students per content area
Holding virtual office hours each week (minimum of 15hrs/week)
Providing feedback on graded assignments.
Grading coursework in a timely manner, returning work within two days of submission.
Reaching out to students to engage in coursework
Grading teacher will use the Edgenuity system to grade students' work.
Comfort with cloud-based applications
June 10th - July 5th
Teachers currently certified in the content area and employed by the Cedar Rapids Community School District. Priority will be given to qualified applicants with previous experiences with the program.
Seeking Teachers Certified 9-12 in the following areas:
- PE
COMPENSATION: $1800 ($30 x 60 hours per contract)
ESTIMATED NUMBER OF HOURS: 60 hours
